Our story
We met in late 2016. Sadly, there's no indie movie meet-cute story to tell about how they reached for the same obscure record in a cool vinyl shop. It was a swipe. How romantic.
But it was mission accomplished - we both had a plus one for each of our siblings' weddings taking place the next year.
Since then, we've made so many memories together, whether it be trips to Rome, Cape Town, New York, San Francisco and Canada, or at home, first in Nottingham and now Birmingham.
But perhaps our most memorable trip was Cornwall in 2024. James popped the question - finally! - part way up Raginnis Hill, overlooking Mousehole harbour, a place close to Emily and the Shaw family's hearts.
Our memories together are intertwined with precious times shared with our family and friends. Our wedding day is the next memory to be made, and we can't wait to share the day with all of you.
You made the moon our mirrorball,
the streets an empty stage,
the city sirens violins.
